My father,Francis F. Kennedy worked for the Eclipse Works of theAtlantic Refining Co. in Franklin,Pa., and was transferred to thePhiladelphia refinery in 1937 when the Eclipse Works was shut down. My most scary moment as a child was watching from Rocky Grove Ave.as a huge fire devouredthe refinery tank farm ca.1932.My father,retired from Atlantic after 48 years of service.I,worked for the Atlantic Richfield Co ( the later name of the company )in the PhiladelphiaR&D.and retired in 1985.
